Custom product concept

Pocket Holster

Custom KYDEX pocket holster development for OEM programs, with controlled pocket interface, orientation, access, separation geometry and garment validation.

A compact molded pocket-carry platform developed around the exact fit reference and the representative garment pockets named in the buyer brief.

Buyer focus: The garment pocket is part of the system. Define pocket depth, width, opening, fabric and carry orientation, then specify how the carrier stays in the pocket and separates from the carried item during the intended removal sequence.

Pocket-interface architecture

The molded shell controls fit and coverage while its outer geometry manages orientation, movement and separation against the pocket opening. A design approved in one pocket construction should not be assumed to perform the same way in every garment.

Program decisions

Decision Buyer input Approval evidence
Fit reference Exact approved configuration Seating, access and retention review
Pocket range Representative openings, depths, fabrics and seams Named garment test matrix
Orientation Permitted position and movement limit Loaded movement record
Separation Hook, ledge or friction concept and release sequence Repeatable removal check

Sample approval focus

Review coverage, pocket entry, orientation, movement, access, separation, edge contact and garment condition across every representative pocket in the approved matrix.
