An outside-the-waistband platform using integral molded-shell belt slots, developed around the named belt, slot geometry and complete loaded carry position.
Integral-slot architecture
The slot, surrounding material and formed wing act as the mounting component. Their relationship to the fit cavity determines load transfer, body offset and whether the belt can thread without damaging edges or distorting the shell.
Program decisions
| Decision | Buyer input | Approval evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Belt interface | Width, thickness, stiffness and edge profile | Threading/removal on named belt samples |
| Slot geometry | Usable opening, radii, orientation and edge distance | Dimensional and close-up edge inspection |
| Shell/wing | Wing span, curvature, stiffness and fit-cavity clearance | Loaded movement and profile review |
| Presentation | Ride, cant and allowed threading positions | Installed sample at each released position |
Sample approval focus
Check slot dimensions and finish, belt threading, local flex or whitening, loaded shell movement, access, retention and clearance between the belt path and carried configuration.
