A quick-mount outside-the-waistband platform developed around the buyer’s approved fit reference, belt range, paddle geometry and retention requirements.
Paddle-system architecture
The molded shell and paddle form one system. Shell hole spacing, adapter geometry and fastener clearance determine whether the released paddle sits at the intended height and angle without interfering with the carried-item envelope.
Program decisions
| Decision | Buyer input | Approval evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Belt interface | Belt width, thickness and edge condition | Installed engagement and removal review |
| Presentation | Ride height, cant and body offset | Configured sample at allowed settings |
| Attachment | Hole pattern, adapter and fastener stack | Alignment, engagement and clearance check |
| Shell | Fit reference, coverage and retention method | Seating, access and specified retention test |
Sample approval focus
Review the paddle on every belt condition named in the brief. Confirm permitted adjustment positions, fastener access, edge contact, flex, removal sequence and whether adjustment can move outside the approved envelope.
