Belt clip and loop families
Polymer clips
Low-profile molded clips can support defined belt widths, mounting patterns and ride-height positions.
Spring-steel clips
Coated metal clips offer a thin profile; edge condition, spring force and corrosion expectations must be controlled.
Loops and adapters
Closed loops, soft loops and platform adapters can be developed for more fixed or modular attachment behavior.
How buyers compare attachment options
| Question | Why it matters | Evidence for approval |
|---|---|---|
| What belt? | Width, thickness and stiffness affect capture | Test on the nominated belt range |
| Where is it worn? | Position changes leverage, comfort and access | Evaluate intended carry positions |
| Adjustable? | More positions require clearance and strength checks | Drawing plus repeated adjustment test |
| Tool-free removal? | Convenience changes retention architecture | Document the installation sequence |
Hole patterns are not automatically universal
A familiar-looking slot or hole spacing is not proof that two components are interchangeable. The approved drawing should control center distances, fastener diameter, stack thickness, bearing area and allowable orientation.

Frequently asked questions
Can one shell accept multiple clip options?
It may, when the shared mounting pattern, load path and clearances are designed and validated together.
Do you supply soft loops?
Soft-loop packages can be evaluated with specified webbing, snap orientation, hardware and belt range.
Can ride height and cant be adjustable?
Yes, within an approved position range that preserves strength, access and safe clearances.
