CarryMold

OWB Kydex Holsters

OEM OWB Kydex holster platforms for brands, distributors and professional carry programs.

Program options

CarryMold develops products against an approved fit reference, dimensional brief or customer-supplied data. The objective is a repeatable specification—not an off-the-shelf claim of universal compatibility.

  • Pancake and close-ride belt layouts
  • Integrated belt-slot shells
  • Paddle-mounted platforms
  • Light-bearing configurations
  • Revolver and specialty-fit programs

Engineering and approval focus

OWB development focuses on belt interface, body offset, cant, coverage, clearance and retention behavior. The mounting architecture should be specified with the intended belt width and use environment.

Each program can define thermoplastic grade and thickness, edge geometry, drainage, eyelet pattern, hardware, color, marking and bulk or retail packaging. Prototype review should confirm fit, access, retention, mounting stability and intended user interaction before repeat production.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between pancake and paddle OWB formats?

Pancake layouts normally distribute the mounting points around the shell, while paddle systems use a removable body-side platform. Final behavior depends on the approved design.

Can an OWB product use several belt attachments?

A shared shell may support a defined hardware family when hole spacing, loads and clearances are engineered together.

Do you offer custom colors?

Color and texture options are confirmed during material selection and quotation.
