A close-riding outside-the-waistband platform developed around an approved fit reference, dual-wing shell geometry and named belt-loop configuration.
Dual-wing architecture
The left and right mounting wings distribute load around the body while positioning the shell. Wing length, curvature, hole pattern and loop stand-off influence profile, leverage and whether the assembly remains stable on the approved belt.
Program decisions
| Decision | Buyer input | Approval evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Fit cavity | Exact approved configuration and coverage boundaries | Seating, access and retention review |
| Wing geometry | Overall spacing, curvature and permitted flex | Loaded profile and movement check |
| Belt path | Belt width/thickness, loop style and attachment stack | Installed sample on named belts |
| Presentation | Ride, cant, body offset and allowed positions | Configured clearance review |
Sample approval focus
Inspect both wings for alignment and edge condition, then verify belt engagement, loaded movement, access, retention, fastener clearance and symmetry against the approved configuration.
